Board of Director Election
CPA Saskatchewan is pleased to advise that we have received more nominations than there are vacancies for the Board. As a result, an election is required. There are currently four vacancies for the 2019-20 Board and five nominations were received. The election will take place from June 5 - June 18, 2019. The results will be announced by the Chair of the Board at the AGM on June 19th in Saskatoon.
CPA Saskatchewan received the following nominations for the Board:
Mike Bryanton, CPA, CA
Mike is the Vice-President of Consumer Markets at Concentra Bank. As the business line owner, he provides leadership and strategic direction to the team responsible for acquiring retail loans for the Bank. Prior to the Consumer Markets role, Mike spent a number of years in Concentra’s finance division as the Vice-President Corporate Controller where he oversaw the accounting and regulatory reporting departments and played a key role through a number of initiatives including Concentra’s continuance under the Bank Act.
Carrie Carson, CPA, CA
Carrie is a Partner at Deloitte in their Regina Assurance & Advisory practice. Carrie has provided both audit and advisory services to a variety of organizations including the financial services sector with a focus on the Credit Union system. Carrie has a broad range of experience in areas of real estate, not-for-profits, crown corporations and agriculture. She has been a member of the CPA SK Board for the past two years. During this time, she has served as Board Liaison on the Rules Committee and chaired the HR & Nominating Committee. Carrie has been involved in the community through her volunteer work with the CIBC Run for the Cure, Gold Medal Plates, and an office leader for the United Way. She has chaired the Deloitte Women’s Spring Breakfast Committee and is also a member of the Deloitte Prairies Inclusion Council.
Disha Joshi, CPA, CA
Disha is the Benefits Realization Analyst for AIMS (Administrative Information Management System) and the Senior Financial Analyst at 3sHealth. She is a volunteer with the CPA Financial Literacy program. She serves her community as Board member for the YMCA, as treasurer at the Saskatchewan Cerebral Palsy Association and is the Co-Chair of the U of S Alumni Regina group. She has been involved with volunteering to fight homelessness through the 5 Days for the Homeless, the Lighthouse and Habitat for Humanity programs.
Paul Lepage, CPA, CA, CBV
Paul is a Senior Manager in KPMG Saskatoon’s Enterprise practice. Paul is a former contractor for CPA Saskatchewan, is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, was a marker for the 2012 UFE, an instructor for the MPAcc and undergraduate programs at the U of S and is currently a Mentor for CPA candidates. He has been involved in the community as Board member and Treasurer of Canada Green Building Council of Saskatchewan, Treasurer of a Political Party Constituency Association, presenter and facilitator for various local business education programs, and a volunteer for various programs at the University of Saskatchewan.
Travis Massier, CPA, CMA
Travis is employed at Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan (CIC) as the Corporate Controller and has experience with Crown sector accounting, performance management, and financial analysis. Travis is currently a member of the CPA Saskatchewan Discipline Committee. Travis is active in the community as a Board Director of the Capital Pension Plan, First Nations and Métis Fund (Audit & Finance Committee Chair) and Saskatchewan Immigrant Investor Fund Inc. He has also coached-ball and minor football in Regina.
