CPA Preparatory Courses
Are you interested in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP)? Learn how CPA preparatory courses can help you meet the requirements of your chosen path.
WHAT ARE THE CPA PREPARATORY COURSES?
The CPA preparatory courses are a suite of 14 courses that provide the knowledge requirement for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) and entry and technical courses for CPA Canada’s Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance (ACAF). Designed with the working professional in mind, courses are offered on a part-time basis and combine online learning and self-study with an optional webinar for students that would like a more in-person class experience. Students complete only those modules they require.
The CPA preparatory courses are offered through the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB). Students require 30 credit hours of study (equivalent to 10 courses) at a post-secondary institution or three years relevant work experience to enroll in the CPA preparatory courses. Students can also complete equivalent courses through recognized post-secondary institutions.
Note: Students are required to complete a degree before admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP).
