Canadian Energy Sector's Transition to Net-Zero Series

CPA Canada recognizes the challenge that Canada faces as we transition to a net-zero economy by 2050. Achieving this goal is critical to the wellbeing of Canadians, our economy, and our planetary health. A common path, and united narrative needs to be defined by industry players and the investment community to ensure the pathway to net-zero emissions is equitable, just, and prosperous for all Canadians.

To create a common pathway and narrative among industry and the investment community, CPA Canada and the Accounting for Sustainability CFO Leadership Network (A4S) are hosting a series of events on the Canadian Energy Sector’s Transition to Net-Zero.

We aim to engage with key stakeholders and the busines and investment community in the Oil and Gas (O&G) sector on the role and related challenges and solutions of this sector in supporting Canada’s net-zero goal by 2050. Your input will be valuable in creating an output of a common narrative and pathway to a low-carbon economy.
